i have a new favourite song

Outside just killing time and making noise
And outside the daylight comes, the daylight goes and
Weightless affairs that weigh less than air weighs
makes no stairways just stairs that go nowhere
Don't dream, that it's a dream it is what it seems.
That it's a dream it is what it seems.

Climbing from over stimulated states to hearing
Cold radio and licenses plates but don't dream,
That it's a dream it is what it seems

Behind every desire is another one waiting to be liberated when the first ones sated

Water skiing, the water's soft the water's hard
You act nice, a black birthday card I threw it away
Grown-up life, is like eating speed or flying a plane
It' too bright, it's too bright

2009

and the earth is still moving.
and we are all still the same.

"You know what’s so fuckin’ funny? Evil does not exist. There’s only human stupidity, it’s the biggest danger that threatens us. We’re inspired by this stupidity and try to make fun of it, so that it won’t make people so sick. Exit buggie, enter Mac, exit Mac, enter buggie.

’Cause, what do you do actually? You eat, you party, you fuck, you sleep, and in your remaining time you join the rat race so that your kids will be able to enjoy this same privilege.

Are you sitting now? Then we can tell you what we should have told you a long time ago. You won’t like it, but fortunately you’re old enough to realize it, finally: some million years ago we were tearing out each other’s hair while hanging from the tree. Then one of us learnt how to clap hands… and, bang, down he fell. Then we applauded and followed him. Well, ever since, this world hasn’t developed any further. We keep on clutching to each other, blinded by isms and skisms, taking the other’s property, being pain in each other’s ass, somtimes helping the weak, sometimes beating each other’s brains out, being sorry, begging for simpathy… just like back on the good old tree.

Well, we think, this is what’s so fuckin’ funny. Meanwhile we’re being exploited by such powers we are not even aware of, we just keep on gobbling up the baby-manna from their hands. But you just stay cool: this is only pink and funkyblue, too.
